What is NOWPayments?

NOWPayments is a payment gateway for cryptocurrency. It was launched in 2019 by the team behind the ChangeNOW instant exchange. When a customer chooses to pay with crypto, NOWPayments creates the payment, watches the blockchain for the incoming transaction and confirms it, then sends you your money.

You do not need to run your own wallet software or follow every coin’s network by hand. NOWPayments does that part, and you keep selling.

From checkout to payout, the whole process takes a few steps and most of them happen automatically.

The standard service fee is 0.5% per transaction. If a payment needs a coin swap, an exchange fee of about 0.5% is added, so the total is about 1%. Blockchain network fees depend on the coin you use and how busy its network is.
